So the NPC was flying in a ship that doesn't exist in the game! :D

Hope Dolphin will be added into the game soon!

I'd like this ship to exist, though.

To be honest, if the outside is done why not release it as an NPC ship and just not put it in shipyards, until the rest of it is finished?

The real question is, why are they always so ugly, every station I check the available crew for at least a tolerable looking one, can't imagine a long space flight with the hideous crew they currently have available.

Some are ugly, some look good or even handsome/pretty. Most look plain "normal". *)

Have you been outside lately, watched the people you meet there? Have you recently looked in the mirror? **)
How would you describe what you see there? I personally, would say I fall in the "normal" category.
So, why should it be different for the NPCs?

*) All of them are procedurally generated and have a certain kind of inevitable artificial CGI-look to them. I don't deny the 'uncanny valley'.

**) Not knowing you at all, I am hopefully not in any danger to offend you. You may even look like a super model for all I know.
