Hi there, how do you have your binds configured to switch to the 3rd weapon when you are fighting in the Dominator suit? I personally am playing with Controller, Default Layout, but hitting the "Y" button twice does not reliably switch to the secondary weapon, it more offen just cycles the two Primaries, as if I had pressed "Y" only once.

it's not your 3rd weapon, it is your second primary 
. You alternate between your primary weapons with the primary weapon key. You cannot equip them directly. If you are using your secondary weapon (handgun), the primary weapon key will bring you back to the last one you used.

But I get along pretty good with mine like this personally
I kinda think it would make more sense if dominator suit second primary was on the tool key.

It would. It would also be way more user-friendly in the middle of a fight to be able to explicitly select first or second primary. I wish this was how it worked. Needing to select one and then the other is not fun.
I can toggle through all weapons using my mouse scroll wheel.
