Hey there Commanders,

I am quite curious for the answer to this. Does the amount you donate also has an increased % of rank for any of the two Superpowers? Like 25k less than 1% and 1m higher than 1%?

How many progress in % you make depends on your rank you already have. But the higher missions give better progress.
Depending from which of these two you have more, the efficience changes, time or money.

Let us say a 25k mission gives you about 0.25%
A 1mil mission gives you 1%

So 4 missions of 25k would give you the same progress as a 1mil mission but at lesser costs.

I'm not sure that the rep given for cash donations depends on the amount you donate.

If the reward is medium increase in rep, you'll get the same rep for 10k cr as you would for 1 000 000 cr.

I'm happy to be proved wrong though.

My brother was rank "none" with the Empire. A 25k donation mission gave him 3%, while a 300k donation mission gave him 17%. He choked in astonishment when it shot up like that.

Got my Rear Admiral last week. The amount donated does make a difference. But not a whole lot. The numbers above are probably spot on. Some of the missions give slightly more rep as well, In my experience. Could be wrong, but it seemed that Data delivery gave less rep ( 4 per 1% ), while actual delivery of goods was slightly better ( 3-3.5 per 1% ). I never bothered to confirm it.
