Don't drink and fly kids! (especially not FA Off)

Returning home from the pub late last night after several too many drinks (and with Amy Whinehouse belting it out on the iPod) I decided I'd have a crack at the latest Burnout Buckyball run, a nice short race involving making a single jump away from and then back to the start station. Average times on the leaderboard were a little over three minutes. With booze fueled overconfidence I decided I'd make it interesting and do the entire thing with Flight Assist turned off (something I've never really tried before). After all, I'd watched Isinona doing it, how hard could it be?

Turns out quite hard.

:p

That was a roller coaster of emotion haha, started feeling a bit ill near the end too... maybe next time try the sensitivity a lil bit lower for FA off, should help quite a lot :p nice one!

we could make it a Buckyball 'thing', although i'm sure some are quite a lot better at FAoFF than others.

i'm in your league Alec - Enthusiastic Amateur ;)

Pretty much my first proper FA-off experience (other than flipping it off occasionally to turn faster or prolong a boost).
Also quite drunk which almost certainly didn't help.
I love how you were confused that the ship doesn't fly where you point her. :D

I think you are a natural. You should pursue this path further. FA-off is completely different and really amazing world of flying the ship.
(Well, once you've learned it... :) )
