Yes, that's the only way to find it if you've never been before - or if you are lucky get someone already there to wing up and drop a beacon.

No it's not. You can DSS the planet now and get a nav point. No coordinates needed.

Pretty sure it shows up on the DSS now...

Oh really? I didn't know that. Wish it had been that way when I used to spend hours trying to get to the correct coordinates - never was any good at that. I'll have to try it with a commander that's never been there, probably my newest, P0PPY...
