Don't Forget Mechanics Research!

Depending on what mode you're playing in, don't forget that you may need to do Mechanics Research before you can access some of the new dlc pieces.

(I forget nearly every time, including when I first opened up this time around, so am hoping this post will help relieve the panic of anyone else having the same challenge. LOL!)

I wish this could be stickied and on steam too. Every 4+1 pack; people uninstalling and reinstalling and chewing out Frontier that their game is broken, because they forget they have to do this.

To be fair, it still strikes me as a bit odd that it's even necessary to do this for DLC themes, but this is a good and important PSA regardless.

Ah, that's sad to see that happen. Also the flurry of support/help tickets and what not that Frontier must get everytime a standard pack comes out. I sympathize....part of my job is answering email inquiries through our website, so I can feel the eye-rolling they probably have when those come in.
