Ships Don't like the 3 dash lights in the Cutter....

... you know, the ones just below the screen in front of the HUD. What the hell are they there for?

They seem to have been deliberately placed to annoy you, as they don't help you to see anything better and they block your view of targets in the HUD. Can't we have a dash switch to turn them off please FDEV?

This could be said for many ships, but mostly them Imperial ships. Suggestion's been made (more than once) by several folks to add a switch to turn off inside lighting, but no QoL on that... yet. Have ya tried manually scooping anything with a Dolphin. It's been awhile for me but last time I did, it didn't matter what angle I went at it from the HUD's target area was too bright to see the item's orientation. Fingers crossed.

Funny about that. I have comparing those dashboards to 1960s models of American Luxury Cars. It reminds me a little of the the Old Lincolin or Caddy dash boards. I have a Hauler I use that I outfitted with a 50 Ly range. The dash on it reminds me of a 1950s Chevy Pickup dash. LOL.

Yeah those lights are annoying. I mean I've learned to ignore them when I need to focus on flying like if I'm shooting down a pirate anaconda, or trying to land on a high G world, etc...

But I wouldn't mind if they had a dim setting or an off switch.

Or if the holographic display could be tuned a bit. The "radar" circle in the Cutter looks smudged for some reason. I suspect it's the texture/polish of the underlying surface, but it irritates me a bit when I go from one of my other ships like the Krait MkII or the FDL to my Cutter, and then the first thing I notice is that my SLF pilot has been eating crisps at the console again and left fingerprint smudges all over my sensor display.

And I bet she adjusted my pilot seat height too. Something definitely feels off until a few minutes into the flight when I force myself to ignore the smudges and just focus on the controls.

i've had my cutter for less than an hour now, and am thinking I shall sell it because the lights are too bright.

Still, I can read the g meter, unlike on the Annie.
