Foolishly I didn't record which particular base it was (at the time I just assumed the same would be true for all of them).

Check your EDDiscovery or Inara log perhaps, or even journal for that matter.

Actually, don't sweat it - I gave the one at Pleiades Sector OD-S B4-1 (62.8175 / 137.8808) a try and that has the same effect, i.e., doors still open without you holding a "key." You still need stuff to make the map work, though. Just make sure you remind people not to drive on the eggs. Those shells are pretty darn sharp!
