i just got made wanted in a strange way has anyone had this happen first i log on to a wanted ship i open fire and get a fine for firing on it i go on and destroy the ship and get paid the bounty only thing is the law start on me then . and i had a wanted ship crash into
me explode and i was given a bounty against me , how is that.
You don't get a fine for firing at anybody. You get an assault charge, which carries a small short term bounty on you, which is why the Feds shot you. When you get an assault charge, you should immediarely run away unless you're in a haz RES. If you got an assalt charge, it was because you shot the wanted guy before your scan showed that he was wanted.
It's common for ships to crash into you and explode. Were you at a nav beacon?
To avoid bounties on yourself while bounty hunting, it's best to do it in a Haz RES. If you get one anyway, don't go back to the station in your system because the Feds will get you there.
