Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

A few years ago, when Planet Coaster was first released I recreated one of my local amusement parks, Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. Once Planet Coaster 2 was released, I thought it would be fun to do the same, and recreate Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom as it exists circa 2024. The file is available in the PC2 Workshop: C66RRB1PQ

For the sound effects and billboards, here is a link to download those.Install in your Documents / Frontier Developments / Planet Coaster 2 directory.

Hope you enjoy your virtual visit!

This is my home park. I've been going there since I was 2 in 1976. I was going to build DP & WWK in PC2 now that we have working water slides, pools, and freeform construction for the first time in an amusement park sim, but you beat me to it. It looks very good, but you had to make compromises for flat rides that don't exist yet in PC2. You made a 2024 version of the park, this year they made a few changes like removing the 1984 Apollo flat ride and 2002 Meteor flat ride, they moved Tradewinds gift shop in WWK to the former Subway space, and and a brew place opened in the old Tradewinds spot. I liked how you made the Zephyr diesel train out of the mini steam train, but I had a better idea for roofs, there is this piece which looks just like the Zephyr roofs with curved sides and flat top, you can resize pieces so if I shrink it and recolor it I can attach it to the train and replace the flat roofs. I hate that you can't leave feedback for blueprints and parks on the Frontier forums, you could in Steam for the Windows version of PC1. And now this forum is closing on July 31, they want you to use Discord. The forum will be read only. I tried to update the park for myself to reflect this year with the two flat rides removed.
