Doubly annoying respawning mission pirate

So, there's this one, names mission pirate that's died 3 (so far and counting) times yet continues to respawn and attempt to interdict me. So far, so usual.

The latest indignity - dropping out of SC directly between me and a target I had just started firing on at a NAV point, meaning I got a bounty for assault.

Take away: the assault detection is still too sensitive and needs to be toned down another touch.
