Doubting it but will ask anyway - Has there been a fix or tweak found for scale on Vive yet?

I havnt played since October when i totally burned myself out by hopping all the way to Colonia in a single 7.5 hour sitting.

Started up Elite again last night to notice i still had the body of a small child.

Its been like this for two years already so i kinda doubt anything would have been done about it but asking won hurt anything.

Has there been any new revelatory stuff i need to know about on the VR side of things?

I don't have a Vive, but what is giving you that feeling? Does it occur in other games?

If not, it might just be that the cockpits are "oversized" in many ships and that there is nothing wrong with the Vive, just your sense of scale. Do you still feel like a child in a Sidewinder (which has a small cockpit)?

I have both headsets. The only difference I can see is that when you look down from your seated, neutral position the Vive appears to be slightly forward when compared to the Oculus. When I sit and look down, I automatically see slightly more of the hip/groin/abdominal area when using the Oculus. I wanted to find the fabled different sized body, as I had the Vive first... but it's not there. The perspective is slightly different for each headset, I imagine that's more to do with the dimensions of each HMD and how they sit on our faces [edit: I meant to say, at first it can look like there is a difference, but after a few swap comparisons I noticed the above, and once i took that into consideration and moved my head a bit - they look the same]

The comparisons i have are from playing on the rift dk2, in it i never thought the body looked freakishly small enough for me to notice and that the ingame HOTAS look small compared to my IRL x52 pro HOTAS.

There arent any world scale settings that i know of for the vive at least.

They could do with putting in a scale slider so that we can adjust it to our tastes. Aerofly FS2 has one and works just as you'd expect it too. Pretty sure FD could do the same for ED.

Yeah, in the Rift I get the same feeling, not that exaggerated, but not "normal" either. The body feels smaller than what it should be. Maybe the future of space faring mankind entails certain body size standards :)
