Down for maintenance?

Just me, or is everyone getting this at 7am Boxing Day morning (in UK)?

I love this game, but the servers seem to go down often, and sometimes at the worst possible time - got up especially to play (sad I know) while the rest of the family is sleeping off a hangover, and before the obligatory family turns up later, when I can't play!!! For me, this is the worst possible result of 'always online' I want to play the game, but I can't. Not a decision I can influence or control, I just have to walk away, disappointed, and go and do something else.

I don't think I would mind so much if there was a link in this forum to a maintenance log, or something to show an estimated downtime -- or have I missed it. At least I would know if it's worth starting a new Mock the Week episode or not...!

eve online happens in aussie prime time youll get used to it, at least frontier are changing the time each day that the server updates ( this is when trade data, economic status, expansion of solar systems, changes in political control occour ) see the dukes of mikinn thread for a player driven group, causing changes in the political strucutre of an outlying system, we are assisting the dukes of mikinn in galactic control.

The message was for 15 minutes of daily maintenance.

I've only seen about 2 unplanned server outages since launch, Both for less than 15 minutes.

Not to worry - it'll be back in 6 or 7 minutes.
This will be a regular 7 o' clock stop.

Just time to get the kettle on.

Ah, thanks all, I didn't know about that link for maintenance, cheers. Now...off to make my first million today!
