Downloading Gamma and Elite server capability

"Soon" ( the magic word on our forum) lots of you readers will get access to the Gamma.
from experience I know many will complain it takes some time and blame it to the servers.
that's why I want to show you this before the forum get filled with complains.
this is how a download looks like with a good ISP .

I,ve been testing as from the Alpha and all my downloads looked like this.

I welcome you all , long downloads are not FD,s fault.

Worked fine here as well, but it's hard for me to judge just how fast that really went with the indicator number jumping all over the place and I don't know how big the patch actually was.
For my own part I'm quite happy with my 75/28,5Mbit VDSL2 connection. It's way more than needed for for the day to day use, patching stuff included. Usually the limit for me is the series of tubes between my ISP and where ever I'm downloading stuff from). :)

The majority of updates have been really quick for me too, but b2 (iirc) was extremely slow for about 30% of it, mind you.. I tend to be sat here at midnight waiting for launch. Anyway, size matters too.

its been jumping like that from the first release.
how big this patch was is unknown to me as well.
but none of the updates I got took longer than minutes.
even in peek hours.
the exact isn't important I think , its just an impression how it can look like.

I downloaded B2 within an hour of the launch and was just as fast as always for me ...
