Hi all, new to the game and forum (though a player of the original Elite from way back!).
I've got a Saitek X52 (not Pro) and am loving playing this amazing game flying with the piece of kit that is the Saitek X52. But I've noticed an odd thing: when flying, if I leave the joystick alone my ship's facing position constantly drifts downwards, quite slowly but noticeably.
I've checked on the X52's driver software and it confirms that the joystick's calibrated correctly. So it must be the game itself, or possibly I have got something set up wrongly somewhere.
Has anyone else encountered this, or does anyone know what the problem might be?
It's not a huge issue but it'd be nice to be able to leave the joystick alone and fly directly forward instead of forward and slightly downward. Any advice hugely appreciated, and apologies in advance if I am asking a daft question!
