Yep I use wordcountertool, but I haven't had any problems with it, it is true that punctuation can cause it to count incorrectly, but only when punctuation is used incorrectly like putting a spaces where there not meant to be, as in 'good,' 'Bad ,' but that's just my experience and all my drabbles have been 100 words without needing to fingerpointy count

And here we are again for an update people.
Cathy is still surging ahead, and once again looks like she's going to clinch the title. Others may now be thinking Cathy needs a handicap, Like only being able to enter every other word from her drabble.
Luni is still trailing along behind and getting further.
The rest of the rabble this time have offered poor drabble in comparison.
Some of you having concerns over your votes or lack of them. Don't worry. Always think of it as there will always be someone better than you at everything you do, and just because you don't get any or many votes, doesn't mean it's not any good, It's just that the voters weren't "feeling" your entry at the time, and if there are three or four outstanding ones, then there's very few votes between all the other entries as it is.
If you really think they're poop, then ask what people think, for constructive criticism. We're all grown up here (mostly anyway)
However in the scoring I notice a no voter. It's actually a really good Drabble, and if Hitler or even the Devil himself had submitted it people would have voted, but as it is, Psykokow posted it, so everyone glossed over it

Someone has to say it. Cathy leaves me breathless. Not taking anything away from all you others of course. I, myself, couldn't even drabble my way out of a pub.

I'm enjoying these weekly comps - judging the mood, desires, stylistic requirements of the Forum collective is a challenge - I'm only 3 weeks in - so I'm hoping to up my game eventually and hopefully give Cathy a run for her money eventually.

Finally got round to casting my votes! Lots of good ones, but I gotta I say I knew Cathy's was a winner as soon as I read it. One of her best, and that's saying a lot

Psykokow, the pun wasn't bad and your writing is great, it's just Cathy is the Jedi KNinja (see what I did there ) .. it's hard to compete (No complaints, Cathy got my vote too) the puns seem to be fading away, last weeks Pun in "A shot for the money" by Gavthomas was the pinnacle I think.

Wouldn't surprise me if I'm a bit daft (would never admit it though!). Besides, I'm not in this league regarding imagination and story-telling. I see it as a 50-50 chance of me coming up with something, though there's only a 10 percent chance of that.
