I would like to cordially invite you to come and join a new project I've created that's dedicated the the 100-word Drabble; Drablr.com
What is Drablr?
Drablr is a self-publishing social network; a cross between Twitter and Tumblr, where invited authors compose 100-word stories. Like Twitter/Tumblr, you can follow you favourite authors and discover new ones. Any new Drabble posted by an author you're following will show up in your stream. As a Drabble is 100 words in length, they take only a minute to read and they will often have an unusual twist in the tail.
The site is still very new and so is a little thin on functionality with plenty of rough edges. That said, there's enough for it to be usable and I'll be adding new features regularly.
The reason I'm posting here on the Elite forum is because Elite: Dangerous was actually the inspiration behind the idea! I had a lot of fun reading the newsletter Drabbles from Michael Brookes and the other Elite authors, as well as those from here in the forums. As Elite was the inspiration it only feels natural to invite the Elite community before making the site more public.
There aren't too many authors onboard just at the moment, but hopefully more will be joining soon. Still, I'm pleased to say that Michael Brookes, Drew Wagar and Chris Walker have all signed up and are already posting Drabbles!
If you have any problems or feedback for the site, please let me know.
Mike
