Dragon Eyes

Howdy

Ive been slowly chiseling away at an ash dragon at the opening of my park. Still very rough but, I would like to jimmy-rig some big yellow eyes. Kind of the like, the dragon has been dead for hundreds of years, or has he? I though i would color a table top yellow. Well, that didnt work. It was next to impossible to manipulate, I couldnt get the table top to actually turn yellow, so on and so forth. Im clearly not getting something.

Ideas for dragon eyes? LOL

Im going with lanterns at this point, to try and get that glassy yellow look. Its ok, not perfect. But then, thats the fun!

I LOVE that video, though. Lots of great tutorial stuff in there.
