I know this will be dwarfed by beta announcement but here you go - after years in EA, dreadnought is finally out.

I remember learning about this game years back and being very excited about it because it looked awesome. Since then I started to play Fractured Space to bridge the wait and even participated in open play weekends for Dreadnought sampling whats to come. I soon realized that the game isnt for me even tho I wish it would. Theres only so many matches I can play with random people against other people until I grow tired of failed assists, moronic gameplay and overal chat raging and sadly Dreadnought doesnt offer any other gameplay at all. In addition the grind required to achieve more complex options is only prolonged by my quick tiring of regular matches. In essence I would punishing myself for playing this game so I dont.

I still think its a beautiful game and apparently it has "mixed" receptions at its release? I was kind of surprised (currently 46% review rate on steam which is incredibly bad). I read the story about the publisher laying off a third of its workforce but the counter arguments that people are not kept on the team after the work is done makes a lot of sense to me so I dont know. Anybody else has some insight (someone playing maybe?) as to why this turned out to be not-so-great?
