Nobody's stopping you from just bringing a medium range scanner and enjoying yourself. But I can't quite fathom how you think 400 billion star systems is too easy a feat for you, since you want to let everything beyond 5000ls be basically unexplored. (because most people aren't stupid enough (or haven't got compulsive needs to) to go beyond 5000ls if they don't know if there's something to find there in every system)

Anyone who plays this game and doesn't consider time vs. money is basically just enjoying the sandbox and not really understanding the game mechanics. That is why you should never accomodate their requests into the game mechanics either.

No npc wing mates or crews...StarTrek online has this and im not fond of this idea.
I want to play with REAL people...not NPCs as wing mates.

The real road map:

Survive in business and then repeat.

Business is tough, cash is King and investment is Queen and plans tend just to be a starting point and need to change greatly due to many business reasons.

FD have not been surviving for so many years without being very good at this, as most other British tech firms have gone under during that time.
