Parks Dreamland

Article from the Themepark Times:

Dreamland (the themepark that is already under construction for over one and a half year) temporarily opened its gates for a few lucky winners of last weeks Sudoku puzzle. They got a chance to see a small part of this themepark in progress. The first reviews were very positive. It seems that we will be spoiled with a heavily themed park with a great amount of family attractions and thrills.

This is what the 5 lucky winners had to say about it:

"I loved to wander around in my future fave park....Dreamland!" (Katie)

"The area was open til midnight and in the dark I was amazed by how good this park looks with all the lighting." (Hugh)

"There is a huge coaster that will dominate the entrance area. I got to ride it and it's amazing! And it is partly indoor with special effects!"(Dan)

"Oh ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎, they have the best coffee!! Oh....what I think of the park? ... I'm not sure... didn't leave the foodcourt, sorry." (Peter)

"Loved the indoor area themed to the underwater world, it was mesmerizing!" (Shaniqua)

They weren't allowed to publish any pictures, though Peter was sneaky enough to take one and shared this photo with us:

"Sipping coffee with a view" (Peter)

We're hoping that the park reveals some more pictures soon!

It appears the the parks management have listened to our photo request. Below is the first officially published park photo.

What immediately catches our eyes is the huge purple coaster wrapping around the park logo made of flowers. Behind it must be the foodcourt where Peter took his photo yesterday. And look at that gate, it's massive! There must be a lot of exciting stuff inside that building!

Nice one. I really love how the scenery looks during dusk and I love the concept of the rollercoaster passing near the entrance. Kinda reminds me of Gatekeeper in Cedar Point. I'm going to keep following you!

Bigger update!

First some pictures of the roofed part of the mainstreet. It contains several food and drink shops, a large souvenir shop and the entrance of the Venetian Carousel:

From the back to the front: Missy Good, a big souvenir shop, lockers and Street Fox Coffee

The souvenir is also the place where you can play the new Planet Coaster Boardgame and also serves as the exit for the entrance's signature coaster.

This lovely carousel is located at the end of the mainstreet.

Then off to the first themed area of the park, Shipwreck Cove. This area has a tropical Carribean feel to it and contains an underwater themed indoor section. The pirate section is still under construction, but that will not take too long anymore before it's ready. Pictures are taken during dusk to increase the atmosphere.
