Drinking and docking, you know who you are!

I don't drink booze really. Not even wine. I partake in moderate and responsible inhalation of certain plants in my own home. I am 50, a professional and I am fully capable of moderation and responsible law breaking. Nuts to anyone who says otherwise. :)

Occasionally i had a beer after a hard working day,
but i hadn't drunk everytime i crashed.

Yet i always had some coffee, maybe coffee is even worse than beer regarding docking?
It seems the ship could use some coffee shots aswell,
to cut the "yawn" short and have a "yaw-rate" again? :D

Now that I think about it... I never actually crashed when drunk.... I always bumped into something... grill, entrance, lamp post, building, big pokey tower at the back... you name it. But made out with shields still on and landed... eventually. Then looked around nervously, raised a glass and said "THAT'S tha' way to do it!"

On coffee however.... grr, go go go go, this is far too slow, go faster, gogogo, boost... oh.

Greets.

I think I remember Neil Armstrong saying something about how flying the X15 was better after a beer.

I've done similar in Orbiter. A balance somewhere between "what if I screw up?" and "screw it all".

I remember returning from a four week exploring run......spent half the return flight putting post it's around the cockpit.......be polite and get permission.....take your time on approach.....landing gear...landing gear....landing gear.

I remember wondering if the silly things would go down after being tucked away for so long.

enjoyable, that.

Bleh you must be flying the wrong ship. Drunk docking is more fun in a clipper stripped down to d3 shields so you can cram in more gold. Let's see your shields last then !
