I dont know if it has been mentioned before but a limpet drone you can drive would make so much sense in this came. Here is the idea my friend and i came up with.

Abrasion blaster only
10-20 cargo (enginner higher or corrosive resist)
Max speed: 50 (eng to 75
Itself is a limpet controller (Cargo, fuel, repair, "mining")
Only able to be carried by large (duh)
Unreasonably priced, as it is a luxury. Say 75m for the 7A, 130 for 8A
7H or 8h hagar (8H holds 2).
Crazy power consumption and weight (it's another ship!)
Perfect score - 5/7 - would buy every time
