This is 51 Aquilae. The yellow star on the left is 51 Aquilae A, the primary star in the system - the one the jump drive targets. The white star on the left is 51 Aquilae B. When I initially dropped into the system my ship flew right into the middle of this star! For a brief instant I could see inside the star (it was hollow, as I guess you'd probably expect them to be).
Naturally, this was too close, so I was emergency dropped, but I ended up being about 40Ls from them - phew! The view is from 16Ls. The only damage appears to have been from the sudden stop, not the heat...
I'd been wondering what would happen if you ended up inside a star, but I didn't expect to find out personally!
