I have no weapons on the ship, so certainly those were not "deployed" neither was the landing gear.

So I'm stuck in this little pocket of space.

I have D-scanner, wake scanner, surface scanner, but they usually don't hinder my FSD. I didn't wake-scan anything to boot...

Where can I look what might be deployed other than the usual things??

You might have encountered a rare bug that also sometimes affects Miners.

If neither Hardpoints, Landing Gear or Cargo Hatch are deployed, you should be able to engage FSD without issues.

If in doubt or the issue persists, momentarily quit to menu and log in again, this reliably fixes the issue (if due to the bug).

I suppose it must be the bug someone mentioned, because logging out and back in fixes it every time...

Last time I played this, there wasn't 2 separate cockpit modes yet... have to try and find out what they're good for.

When this happens to me it's usually because I just used the composition scanner, and just hitting the key to retract hardpoints fixes it.

Sometimes this affects the more grizzled of mining veterans. The issue is you can't jump with your arm hanging out the window. Stow those wayward limbs and try again.
