It's the best time to buy an Orca. I've been building one into an explorer for when 2.3 goes live and it's rapidly becoming one of my favourite ships.

But at the same time, selling all your assets on a whim while drunk is probably a terrible idea. Sleep on it.

The thing is I have ~100M in assets and I play the game purely for fun. If I end up in a Sidewinder then so be it. I tested an Orca in beta for the first time and actually enjoyed (it does need a fighter bay though!) especially with the hull mass drop. I've done a few passenger missions with my Asp and actually enjoyed them more than I thought.

I know most people will say buy a Python but I've been there, done done that and got the T-shirt. Along with the Anaconda which I found a bit boring.

I should explain that I play in self-imposed ironman mode and have done since premium beta. On that not if anyone is in my position I fully recommend staring as Imperial Bounty Hunter. That Imperial Eagle is great fun from the start!

It's always entertaining to log on and find you're ~500ly from where you thought you were.
In a ship you didn't even know you had.
And where did that road cone come from?

OK I'm still drunk but still haven't bought the Orca. I have just made about 10M in passenger missions in my Asp. It just doesn't feel right though! lol
