I thought since @Jurassic Tyrant King made a thread for the Hadrosaurs, I figured I would make a thread to discuss some of the other species from outside of the Ankylopollexia clade. Some species I think could make nice additions to the game include:
Tenontosaurus, A genus of medium- to large-sized ornithopod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous period in the Twin Mountains Formation of Parker County, Texas. It had an unusually long, broad tail, which, like its back, was stiffened with a network of bony tendons.
Rhabdodon, A genus of ornithopod dinosaur that lived in Europe, specifically southern France and Eastern Spain, approximately 70-66 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous. It is similar in build to a very robust "hypsilophodont" (non-iguanodont ornithopod), though all modern phylogenetic analyses find this to be an unnatural grouping, and Rhabdodon is considered to be a basal member of Iguanodontia. It was large amongst its relatives, measuring 4 m (13 ft) long and weighing 250 kg (550 lb), with some specimens possibly reaching up to 6 m (20 ft) long.
Zalmoxes, a genus of rhabdodontid ornithopod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous in what is now Romania. It was shown the Prehistoric Planet documentary series.
Talenkauen, A genus of basal iguanodont dinosaur from the Campanian or Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous Cerro Fortaleza Formation, formerly known as the Pari Aike Formation of Patagonian Lake Viedma, in the Austral Basin of Santa Cruz, Argentina.
Anabisetia, A genus of ornithopod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period of Patagonia, South America. It was a small bipedal herbivore, around 2 metres (6 ft 7 in) long.
Leaellynasaura, A genus of small herbivorous ornithischian dinosaurs from the Albian stage of the Early Cretaceous (dated to between 118 and 110 million years ago), first discovered in Dinosaur Cove, Australia. It was featured in the walking with dinosaurs documentary series.
Valdosaurus, A genus of bipedal herbivorous iguanodont ornithopod dinosaur found on the Isle of Wight and elsewhere in England, Spain and possibly also Romania. It lived during the Early Cretaceous.
Iyuku, A genus of iguanodontian dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Kirkwood Formation of South Africa. Iykuku is known from a bonebed mostly containing remains of at least 27 juvenile and hatchling individuals, an occurrence never before reported. These bonebeds were excavated during three expeditions between 1995 and 1999.
Dysalotosaurus, A genus of herbivorous iguanodontian dinosaur. It was a dryosaurid iguanodontian, and its fossils have been found in late Kimmeridgian-age rocks (Late Jurassic) of the Tendaguru Formation of Lindi Region in Tanzania. Its name means uncatchable lizard.
