DS5 controller supported by ED?

Hi there,

I'm new to Elite Dangerous and was wondering if I can play the game on a PC with my dualsense5 controller. It works fine on steam but the game does not seem to detect it at all.
If it is supported, could someone point me in the right direction of how to get it working?

Got the controller to respond at least by installing DS4Windows. Thumbsticks work, buttons not yet.....

Ah, had to choose the gamepad profile under options... ok... seems to work better now...
