Anyone found one yet, went round my bookmarks last night to the usual places and then hit around 10 famine systems still yet to find one..

What is a distribution Centre?
Not really much point in bookmarking things like Distribution Centres cos system states change regularly.
It's pretty easy to find them just by using the gal-map to display famine systems and then just checking out a couple of the closest ones.
Main thing to remember is that DC's only show up when you get within 1,000Ls of them so, if you don't see one when you arrive in a system, target a planet more than 1,000Ls away and head toward it.

Yeah went to 10 last night and flew to all planets not a single one had a DC ended up just giving up.
Blimey! That really is lousy luck.
It's not unusual if I don't find one immediately but it never takes me more than 2 or 3 systems.
Might be nice if sites such as EDDB or INARA could flag famine systems where DS's have definitely been visited.
Found in Systems in Famine State. Used to distribute food. Contains 3 stationary T-9's and has lots of ships flying in/out. Very good place to Scan Ships and Scan Wakes cause of all the traffic. Also a great place to farm T-9's for Chemical Manipulators/Distilleries/Processors if you are not a victim of Role Playing ;-) (Hint: Find a Anarchy System in Famine if you want to farm them indiscriminately without getting wanted) Farm all the T-9's, low wake out, come back in, rinse and repeat...
Possibly one of the very best places to farm Mats and Data! Bring a decent combat ship with a wake scanner and have a picnic.
More populated systems in famine have a better chance of spawning distro centers. You won't always see the distro centers simply by using the ADS or by visiting the Nav beacon. You will have to fly around near all the planets (~ 1000 LS) for them to show up in your Nav Panel. Not all famine systems have them...
