DSS fire probe key mapping option. Missing?

As title says, there seems to be no binding to fire a probe in controls. However, in DSS mode in the bottom of a screen it says fire probe not bound. I can fire probes with the same button I bring up DSS, however considering that I use mouse to aim it...I have to switch hands between mouse and joystick, which is super inconvenient. Is there something I'm missing, or the key binding is just not present currently?

I was searching for that as well but since the DSS is in a fire group you have only the options to set it either to primary or secondary fire button.
I wish it was a seperate fire button to launch the probes as i want to controll it with the mouse but i have to use my stick for it as i have my fire buttons on that.

Precisely. I aim with a mouse, and fire with a firegroup button on a joystick. Awkward. Clearly, separate binding should be there. It says it's not bound in a DSS mode. I'm surprised I've not seen anything about it on a bug tracker, or even mentioned on forum anywhere.

Left mouse button is Joystick primary fire, right mouse button secondary. Works ultra easy in DSS, no need to change. So set DSS to primary in your fire group and your mouse works perfectly.

Since I use mouse for freelook sometimes, mouse buttons have other functions bound to them. I see no reason why we shouldn't have separate fire probe button as an option :)

Agree that it would be very good to have a dedicated binding for DSS.

On switching to the DSS, I too use the mouse to target, but would like to have the ability to customise which button(s) are used in this mode.

I also have JOY2 bound as "exit" for most functions, apart from firegroups, so this is messed up when in the DSS.

Please, Frontier, give us a dedicated set of DSS keybindings.
