Goal: Fleet Carrier Re-Deployment & Exploration for the Galactic Exploration Catalog
Mining/Fueling Op: February 15-25 (optional)
Colonisation: February 26 - March 13 (optional beta activity before departure)
Launch Date: March 13 March 6, after server tick
Expected Duration: 2-3 weeks with option to extend
Route: Bubble -> Dryman's Point -> Trojan Belt -> Arcadian Stream
Roles: Mining, Exploration

The Callisto initially deployed on DSSA's launch day as one of the first wave of carriers to enter the Black. It has recently traveled back to the Bubble for refitting and will return to its deployed system (Phraa Blao HO-S c20-7) in the Arcadian Stream. The redeployment phase will be used as an opportunity to explore new areas and add points of interest to the Galactic Exploration Catalog (GEC).

We are now recruiting expedition members to support this mission.

About the DSSA
The DSSA is a network of fleet carriers deployed throughout the galaxy to help explorers in their deep space travels. Beacons in the profound night, they provide safe harbor for anyone in need.

Expedition: DSSA Callisto Refit
Our route will take us, via carrier, from the Bubble to the lightly explored eastern regions of Dryman's Point and the Trojan Belt before returning to the Arcadian Stream. The expedition will pause for a mining op in Dryman's Point and officially close with another in the Arcadian Stream.

A companion fleet carrier, commanded by Jimbo Forias, will be available to continue exploration or transport CMDRs back to the Bubble depending on group consensus.

Carrier jumping will be scheduled and relatively light on most days (typically 2-3 hours) leaving plenty of time to explore and even follow along the Callisto.

All activities, including mining ops to refuel the FC are optional. Participate at your own pace and on your own schedule. You are welcome to join or depart the expedition at any time or place.

Post-Expedition Opportunities
  • Expedition members are welcome to operate and base out of the DSSA Callisto, should they wish.
  • Members may continue exploration, return to the Bubble or Colonia, or set off on their own.

  • Must join the FleetComm private group (the official home of the DSSA) prior to launch and abide by its rules of membership

Just to chime in, my carrier Le Guin will be alongside to offer CMDRs a route home after DSSA Callisto has been successfully redeployed. I imagine we'll be hanging out in the Arcadia Stream for several weeks and then potentially taking a very scenic route back. I'll be guided by group consensus, but roughly aiming to return people back to the bubble some time in June. Possibly earlier if that's what people want.
