DSSA Ijon Tichy #129: the Voyage to the Vulcan Gate

Hi all!
After a completing of the Callisto Respite and Le Guin Tritium Hound / DSSA Glomar Explorer operations the expedition’s core team started a brand-new deployment. And it will be VERY soon.
Morning, on 15th September at 20:00 UTC the DSSA Ijon Tichy #129 will start to the Vulcan Gate to find a new home there.
The carrier is waiting for the launch in the BD-22 3573 system. The trip itself will be more casually, only 9-10 jumps a day. After the arrival to the Vulcan Gate (1000 ly to the west from Lonely Lantern Nebula) on Sunday we’ll start searching of a neat system for the deployment and explore at own pace an almost unexplored region of the Perseus Crags and Angustia. Miners are welcome too, even if there will be no big mining operation.

Oh, I went back to the bubble to make a new exploration ship (flying the same two since half a year had gotten a bit boring) just a couple of days before you posted the thread. I'm mostly done by now though, and will likely be heading back there... unless tomorrow a CG starts that would interest me. (Probably won't, though.)

Arrived at the DSSA Ijon Tichy early this morning (02:45 AM UTC) and boy was that a sight for sore eyes. Went trough a star just 12 jumps prior and was lucky to find a DSSA carrier so close in the area. Your services are highly appreciated, thank you very much for providing an oasis in the the Black.
