Before I submit a ticket does anyone else have this issue?
My Rift's headphones have now completely broke (stupid headphone ribbon design flaw).
I have just bought a pair of cheap Bluetooth headphones and noticed the issue with the lower ship interface panel and to a lesser extent the upper communication panel too. I tried using my other headphones (HyperX via USB dongle or direct into headphone panel and a pair of plug ins) and notice the same. I don't recal this being an issue with my CV1's headphones. I have looked at Windows' sound control panel and I have made sure Windows isn't trying to do naughty stuff.
I am worried this might be affecting the quality of the surround sound as a whole, if the sounds from below aren't being rendered(?) correctly. I did sit in the station and the surround sounds from above were... OK... but I remember them being far clearer with the CV1's headphones
