dual coaster stations

ok so now that we have linked coasters we need dual coaster stations. it is so hard to line up to coaster stations. there can be a option for it where we choose our station layout

It's not so hard to line up, build 2 coaster stations -> go outside coaster building mode -> select one station with multi selection tool (right down corner) and pres X or the button with XYZ axis. Now you can move the second station in place with the XYZ axis. Tip: you can use walls build on the grid to line it up perfectly!

But the idea for 1 station is nice, aslong as we will be able to split the queue and visitors choose a train/queue randomly....

As coaster stations are just like buildings based on a 4x4 mtr grid they should be just as easy to build like the "build on station grid" tool.

I feel the new sync option for duelling coasters was implemented in the cheapest way possible. While it does work, it is not how it normally works in the real world.
They should have allowed us to use multiple stations as part of the same coaster. Like how the transport rides work essentially.

The train should exit station 1, go around the track and enter station 2, then go around again and enter station 1. If you don't get off, then you end up riding both sides of the duelling coaster.

I'm happy they added the sync option, but I'm more disappointed that they did it the wrong way.

If they wont let us use multiple stations per coaster then the next best thing would be a special station piece that has two tracks. A duelling coaster should be a continuous track, not two single coasters side by side.

I agree, we really need to be able to make coasters with multiple stations, as many dual coasters in real life are actually just one coaster (starts from station A, ends in station B). Although you also have dueling coasters that are made up of 2 separate coasters so it isn't unrealistic in any way. It's just not implemented all the way, just like many other aspects of the game.

A coaster that starts at station A, end in station B, then ends in A again is called a Moebius Coaster. These are actually quite rare. There´s one at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Yep and 1 in Six Flags Magic Mountain (which only uses 1 station btw), so they are not as common as the guys above are suggesting. They didn't do it the wrong way.

And here is the (long) list of Moebius coasters from rcdb.com, so tell me how common is this type?

Criteria: Category = Möbius

Thanks for digging up what I was only hinting at [yesnod]
Well, Twisted Colossus at SFMM is now just one coaster with two lifts and mostly parallel track. It never was a Moebius.

Yeah Twisted Colossus is indeed a 1 coaster with 1 station and 2 lifthills (the way we build them before sync was available)

And 3 of the ones on the list closed already. And 1 is currently under construction. So basically there are currently only 6 operating out of the 4284 coasters listed on the site which are currently in operation. Which is a whopping total of 0.14% of the total coaster population.

Oh, I didn't expect there to be so few of those in the world. Doesn't change the fact that having multiple stations per coaster should be in the game since it kinda is a very basic feature. And out of all those 4284 coasters there aren't that many twin coasters either. I feel like many people, including me, find the coasters to be a very important part of the game, so we want them to have as many features as real world coasters.

Of course, I am with you on the as many features as we want. And we should be able to build multiple stations just like we used to do.

And I have to agree on the coaster smoothness now. Yesterday build 2 fantastic dueling hybrid coasters but the heartlining is just not yet like it should be. So smoothing only makes my hills flatter than I want and erases all the airtime in it.
