Hi folks, I'm currently using a dual sticks control setup of CH Fighterstick on the right and TM 16000 on the left with a PSP thumbstick glued to it under the thumb.
I have some problems with choosing yaw and forward thrusters control:
I've tried to put forward thrusters on TM Y-axis, yaw on TM X-axis and vertical and side thrusters on the thumbstick. But PSP thumbstick isn't very precise and has a habit of not zeroing in on release, so I had problems with flying close to other objects.
Now I'm thinking on moving vertical and side thrusters to TM stick, but how it's best to deal with yaw and forward thrusters?
The thing is - PSP thumbstick sits angled, and it's difficult to manipulate only one of it axis at a time. I definitely don't want any stray yaw when I need to apply forward thrust and vice versa.
Sadly, CH doesn't have twist, so I can't assign yaw to the same hand that controls pitch and roll.
TM 16000 has twist, but is viable to mess translation with rotation on one stick?
What do you guys think? Are there some better options that I hadn't thought of?
