Hardware & Technical Dual Monitor Setup

Is there a way to utilize a secondary monitor with Elite ?
I know that you can set up 3 monitors but with one less the problem will be that your view will be in the middle of the 2.

I'd love a function to display the galaxy map on the secondary monitor (i think this was possible in Battlefield last time i played, was pretty good for piloting).

Curious about dual support as well.

I was thinking along the same lines, using the 2nd mon as a nav screen for local/galactic travel.

I would also like to know what options there will be for two monitors. Have a local map or trade price list in my side-monitor would make me happy.

Yup any tips much appreciated. Got a hand me down monitor from the old fella so have already hooked dual screens up for Flightsim. What a difference.

If I can't use it for in game I suppose I can use it for keybindings/tutorials etc. cos I reckon I'm going to need all the help possible come the 16th.
