Dual Universe is a single-shard, sandbox, MMORPG taking place on hundreds of planets, focusing on emergent gameplay with player-driven economy and politics. Players can freely modify the voxel-based universe by creating structures, space ships or orbital station, giving birth to empires and rising civilizations.

Dual Universe is a voxel-based game using Dual Contouring. Players move in the game universe in First Person View with photorealistic graphics. Planets are procedurally generated and the amount of resources are finite. Landscape modifications made by players are permanent.

Yeah man.

I like the way you can change the worlds, similar to Minecraft. Sounds awesome.

I guess they're exceptionally good at what they do...or they're trying harder...or they've not been paid yet so they still have an incentive. Or all three.

Holy crap.. I think I just found my new home. Finally someone with the balls to include Voxel building. I mean Empyreon does it but its a silly old Space Engineers engine.

Promise, good, procedural generation, good, voxel technology to look photo realistic? very....very very very difficult promise, not impossible but very difficult since photo realism is also about things looking right in shape and sizes and such.
But sounds great if they can do it, definitely worth keeping an eye on.

I can't wait for the player base to start asking for a super easy AI and super huge gimballed weapons to make the game funny :)

Yeah, its looks pretty nifty and based by the system reqs you cant have any problem with it, but there is a small question what i dont find any clue about it, how you can download it subsribe the game, or whatever?

And to be honest? As a HC Minecraft / s engineers player im eager to take a closer look into it.

It sounds impressive, but until they have actually something to show I can't say I'm hyped.
I will keep an eye on it, just in case it's something good ;)

I saw this in an article the other day. On paper it dazzles, but, small development team + extremely ambitious game design, I'd be really impressed if they can pull it off. Still, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

The game seems like a nice idea. But I have seen many people have nice ideas.
And I also have seen many nice ideas that keep being nice ideas for decades.

In short: I will wait and see.
But the MMORPG label doesn't speak to me at all.
I have not yet seen a game with that label I really wanted to play.
