Dumb Graphics Card question

For all of y'all who are good with laptops: will the XFX Radeon R9-270X-CDFC 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Graphic Card work for Planet Zoo?

I'm trying to upgrade to a better desktop and I wanna know if this is good. Planet Zoo is the game I have with the highest graphics. My laptop technically cannot play the game, but I do anyways

Wow that's a mouthful for a graphics card but the key information I see - 2gb - is barely enough as I considered my old Nvidia 970m 3gb barely enough to handle the zoos I build. 2gb for a graphics card is still bare minimum and I wouldn't personally upgrade to that. I would be looking at 4gb plus ideally

Either that or my processor was awful. However I struggled with the low resolution blurry graphics which is a lack of vram (the number of gigabytes) on the graphics card

Aight, well, 2gb isn't too bad. For sure this is a better graphics card than my laptop, and I can add a 2nd one, if I need to

What graphics card if any do you have currently? Of course it's all in the relevance of your current system that a 2gb card could be a world of difference

Ok, so, I have a server desktop, which has like 4 slots for hard drives, 4 slots for graphics cards, multiple monitors, the whole shebang, meaning that I can start slow and eventually build it up

Sounds good, yeah compared to the 730m the Radeon card performs better. Not by that much but for a current laptop that shouldn't be able to play the game it should be a pretty good improvement

FWIW it's better to get one good graphics card instead of two lesser cards. Crossfire/SLI isn't really supported by GPU vendors anymore and never really worked well even amongst the few games that actually supported it.
