1. Hi everyone I used to play Frontier Elite 2 on my old Amiga 1200 when I used to still have it best ship I used to have was a Panther Clipper, one day whilst playing I noticed I had not got rid of 1 tonne of rubbish from my cargo, so I proceeded to dump into space away from the main system itself mainly into open space, I had my mouse right next to or under the jettison icon not directly on it. What I found is that when jettisoning the rubbish this way without directly clicking on the jettison button, my cargo or financial credits started to go up and up and up. My question is are you able to still do this method in Elite dangerous if so how.

In Frontier Elite 2 you was able to go up in ranks to Elite by taking a ship to edge of a system where the asteroids where as long as you had a mining laser you could get near a asteroid and keep firing at it the more you kept firing, the more your ranking would go up slowly until you reached Elite this is because it would treat the mining as if you was firing at hostiles treating it like combat, now my question is can you do the same thing in Elite Dangerous if so how and where.
3. Has any one found any clues or snippets of information as to the possible location/locations? of the Thargoid's in Elite Dangerous as they are a very hard race to find and there ships are ment to be the best in the Elite world that could take on anything.
