Hi everyone, my first post on the forums! I've been working on something that I'm super proud of, I think it may be the best thing I've made so far in PZ so here it is: the Dunes desert complex!
One side is the Dunes building, featuring fully custom roof designed to look like, you guessed it, sand dunes! This also houses 4 exhibits for desert species.
The other side of the build is a habitat for gemsbok with their own stables tucked away in the corner and a planted border and some viewing points around the boundary of the habitat.
Custom signage at the roof observation area to explain the design and building.
Desert plants from around the world are used in large planted beds within the building and around the outside with small signs to educate guests about the plants.
The Dunes Café with custom artwork on the walls.
In one corner of the complex we also have an implied roadrunner aviary, luckily there are no coyotes about!
The warm lighting creates a pleasant night time ambiance to the build.
The gaps in the roof and sides of the buildings create an interesting effect at night when lit from within and spot lighting in surrounding planted areas highlights these.
The build is now available to download on the workshop HERE.
Check out my video touring the build here: HERE.
