Duplicate targets?

Hi

Are the mission target names duplicated? I had a mission to take out Gunner Brooks, a preacher. i found him looking for someone else in a different system to the one listed. I took him out and suddenly my name is mud but the mission has not registered as completed (Return to Base to collect) and timed out - after I had been interdicted twice and ultimately destroyed.:mad:

Seems I got the wrong Brooks even though he was a preacher from the target faction...

You have to make the kill in the right system or it won't register as complete. I once killed the same guy four times (for 300-350k bounty a time) before jumping into the system I was supposed to find him and finally putting a stake through his heart just in case.
