First off, anyone lose all their exploration data after today's daily maintenance. I had everything scanned down, logged off in the station. When I logged on after the maintenance, my map was blank again. Awesome.
Now for the war.... if the influence trend is any indicator, Empire is about to lose this one and much like the Sorbago civil war no one will really know why the results are what they are as the feedback mechanism are... well lacking.
As an Empire player, I have limitted means to contribute to this war. The stations which are owned by the independent faction only give my Empire faction missions maybe 1 in 20. Maybe. So I go to war zones and fight. I've seen all of 1 person on the other side, and it took all of 30 seconds to kill him. In the rare chance I get a mission by the Empire friendly faction to kill ships in the warzone, when I turn it in, the Empire friendly faction LOSES influence.
So yeah...
FD you really need to figure this stuff out. This game has no purpose if the players don't believe they are contributing to the story vice voyeurs to it. And your current Galnet stories don't cut the mustard.
Anyway ticket submitted on the lost data...
