DW2 Xbox squadrons

i naively thought with the numbers signed up to this i could just follow along in open, which worked on the launch and i managed to find some randoms to jump out with and avoid the chaos evident on the forum, although my instance was a world apart from what others describe here with some great CMDRs

of course i am a big advocate of open but alas this is turning into a solo trip it seems, some of those i met on launch have drifted off into PG's or just offline in general so perhaps its time to either find a squadron in open on DW2 & on xbox (slim chance i fear) or commit a cardinal sin and join a PG, but it seems with all the infiltrators (again anecdotally going on forum topics etc) this may take some time to get "approved"

whats my options guys?

So I think what you really need is to get into the xbox PG. I dont think the squadron function will be much help (but I could be wrong) if most people are using a PG.

I have to admit, after squadron chat disappeared, and fleetcom discord somehow got locked down, i am finding things a bit quiet.

Personally I'm in the Xbox PG myself and suggest it for all Xbox members of the DW2 expedition.

Joining the fleetcom squadron is well worth it if you want to actually have people to talk to the whole way and to hear about cool sights to see along the way as they are discovered.

Or it will be when Frontier patch squadron chat back in on XBox after the last update broke it.

Huh I was wondering why there was a squadron chat. I kept seeing everyone run around but only saw local chats. Good to know.

Also I've learned to dodge better coming into and out of stations thanks to all the other real players running around.
