I've already done my species ideas I've posted, so I figured out "why not for other features as well?". By the way, all 122 species from JWE2 should return at launch, with several new launch species in the roster. Anyway, here are the list of features I personally want for Jurassic World Evolution 3;
New Features:
Changes from JWE1 and JWE2:
New Features:
- Breeding and growth - This would allow all of the species in the game to be able to breed, so that we don't have to constantly create species from labs every time one dies. However, the breeding should not be too realistic, so the game could keep its "T for teen" rating.
- Semi-aquatics and water levels - With water levels being implemented, we could finally have not only swimming land species, but also have potential semi-aquatic species, such as Deinosuchus and Koolasuchus.
- New attractions - Submarines, river cruises, and, my favorite, petting zoos would be nice to have in the game. For the petting zoos, they should be able to house babies and small species (with scavengers in petting zoos have behaviors modified so they would not attack guests, kids or adults, in the petting zoos).
- More natural scenery and features - We should have caves, waterfalls, cliffs, natural lagoons, etc of various sizes for us to place in our parks, maybe even useable for various animals. For the natural lagoons, we would finally have aquatic species use more natural aquatic habitats without having to use artificial lagoons already in the game.
- Proper first-person mode - I know this isn't a survival game, but a proper first-person mode would be a nice addition to Jurassic World Evolution 3 (one of my favorite feature ideas along with the petting zoo), as we would be able to properly interact with the guests, staff, species, and buildings (even physically entering inside buildings if that's possible for JWE3). The player would be able to interact with the dinosaurs, pterosaurs, etc by petting, feeding, etc, if they are in the good mode and/or if they're not hungry. The carnivorous/omnivorous species (like Gigantoraptor and pure carnivores) would be able to hunt the player in first-person mode (this was already implemented for Quetzalcoatlus in JWE2 when hunting a player in a low-health helicopter, but this should be expanded to all carnivores and dangerous omnivores hunting players in vehicles, buildings, and outside these two, such as carnivorous dinosaurs, carnivorous synapsids (Dimetrodon for example), carnivorous land reptiles (Postosuchus for example), other pterosaurs, and aquatic/semi-aquatic species (if the player is swimming in the lagoons or heightened water depths with the predatory aquatic/semi-aquatic species)). There would be an option for players to have in-game models for them or to make their first-person models invisible so they can imagine that they're actually in the game.
- Paleo-accurate variants - I especially want paleo-accurate variants for some species in the game (complete with different behaviors and animations from their JP/JW variants of the same species), such as Velociraptor, Atrociraptor, Deinonychus, Tyrannosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Baryonyx (maybe the JW Website version would suffice for this species), Ceratosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Corythosaurus, Triceratops, Sinoceratops, Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Pteranodon, Quetzalcoatlus, Dimorphodon, Mosasaurus, Liopleurodon (although Liopleurodon needs a redesign into a paleo-accurate species while different enough to distinguish from Kronosaurus so it wouldn't need a new variant), Elasmosaurus, and Plesiosaurus. However, none of them should replace the base designs (other than Liopleurodon), and they should be optional for those who want paleo-accurate species while also wanting to play the Jurassic games (if they do not want or have Prehistoric Kingdom or other similar games).
- Customizable hybrids - Yes, I know hybrids are not everyone's favorites for various reasons, but I think that we should be able to create and name our very own hybrid dinosaurs (as well as non-dinosaur land species), pterosaurs (as well as non-pterosaur aviary species), and aquatic species, even being shareable online for other users to use.
- Sharable content in the marketplace - Planet coaster did this with player-made content, so why not Jurassic World Evolution 3, this time with their parks and hybrid species?
Changes from JWE1 and JWE2:
- Walking and socializable pterosaurs - Pterosaurs of all species should be able to walk and socialize with members of their species, thus giving pterosaurs more life into the game and make them seem more like real animals than in the previous games.
- Climbing animals - Some small (or medium-sized) dinosaurs and other animals (such as the Indoraptor) should be able to climb onto trees and buildings as they travel or hunt, thus recreating scenes shown from the movies.
- Aquatic species hunting land/flying species - Large predatory aquatic species (including the Mosasaurus) should be able to launch from the water to catch aviary species (maybe even helicopters) and be able to breach itself onto land to catch land animals (even guests and staff) except large sauropods.
- All foliage and brushes in all maps - We should be able to place any kind of foliage and biomes in every map, no matter what climate or environment these maps have. For example; we should be able to place rainforest plants in deserts.
- Lagoons should be able to be connected to land exhibits - With this change implemented, we could have land species frequently interact with lagoon species (as well as allow land species to swim in lagoons), and maybe large predatory aquatic species should have a chance to hunt the land species swimming in their lagoons.
- Cohabitation and minimum population customization - We should be able to customize the cohabitation and minimum population for every species, so we can make which species these animals like or dislike, so that we can make all species either like or dislike each other, and the species liking/disliking certain species unlike in the base game, as well as reducing the minimum population for various species so they don't become lonely (and thus won't become stressed) or, if you want to, increase the minimum population so they can socialize with others of their species.
- Herbivore feeders from JWE1 returning - We all liked the natural plants/foliage that the herbivores feed on in JWE2, but I really missed the original JWE herbivore feeders since that gave us an ability to house nearly all herbivores in one exhibit. I really hope that, if herbivore feeders from JWE1 return along with the natural plants/foliage from JWE2, the herbivore feeders will be optional for players who want to house many more species in the game, but people can still use natural plants/foliage if they want to.
- No building constraints in sandbox mode - We are all tired of building constraints in sandbox mode, so we should be able to place decorations with no limits so we could have highly detailed parks and enclosures in our game.
