Dynamic Rep and Influence

Just a thought.

As it stands, any "kill X pirate" mission, for example, gives you "rep++".

So if you want to rank up, taking on loads of kill 20 pirates is uneconomical.
You're better off taking many "kill 3~ pirate" missions, as you can complete more in the same time.

So, instead of being fixed based on mission type, have it made dynamic based on time commitment, and/or risk.
So a kill 50 pirate mission may give you rep++++ but a kill 2 pirate mission might give you rep+, or something along those lines.

This should apply to all missions, kill pirate was just an example.
And obviously, same can be applied to influence.
