... As it's the only game I seem to play. There are plenty of new games available, and even a bunch of sales to boot. Yet despite all those attractive alternatives, and despite the high probability of a wipe post-gamma, I keep playing.

Either Elite's pretty darned good, or I'm a bit of a tool. Possibly both.

You need to give Alien: Isolation a try out - it's amazing ! Apparently it supports the Rift too - but tbh I was sh*tting myself playing it just on a monitor (albeit with headphones on, in the dark !) - the Rift would be utterly terrifying.

I've thought about it. I do have the DK2 lying around, so may be worth a go! But then again.... Elite.... yum!

Yeah am holding out for 16th so playing DA:I, it is like that feeling when the server is down for a patch and you wander around, make a cuppa, watch telly... DA is very much like that. In limbo waiting for server to come back up so i can start making progress in confidence on elite.

Have 400 steam games and have not even logged into steam since I upgraded to beta.

I've added the launcher to my library list in Steam - works ok!

If they get GTAV 1st person mode working on the rift.......
