E:D soundtrack needs more new pieces

Don't forget the new tracks since the release of Horizons (speaking of the released soundtrack).
I think certain missions could get their own supercruise music, the issue with that being that you can accept several distinct missions and the game has to guess which one you are trying to complete first.

Although I'm not fond of the SRV, when the ambient moon jazz kicks in out of nowhere it soothes my nerves. But generally, more combat music, tension pieces, more please.

Look at old FREELANCER and its vareiety of music... each space sector had its own
(Kusari, Bretonia, Liberty, rheinland, other independedn and uncharted systems) We could have themes for superpowers, their own music, their own cruise flight etc... thargoid themes, exploration themes, mining themes... galaxy sextors could have their own themes.. Every DLC in every game adds more music, we could use some new tracks here too.

Well, there are distinct themes for space stations under control of a superpower (or being independent), like the "enter the destination system" music ( take a look at the titles of the released soundtrack). A custom theme for each part of the galaxy might be a bit overkill, since most players won't be able to appreciate them all. I think some procedurally generated pieces (using stellar forge data) could be blended into the background music - like the "planet sounds" that are already in the game (although those sounds are not very melodic).
I don't see that as a problem, every new variety of sounds and musics could be better than almost no variety at all.
That's what I've ended up with at the moment. I mute ED, and play Freenlancer's OST through youtube. Not a bad solution but obviously often a specific tune won't match what's happening in ED universe. Moreover, ED could really add some interesting combat/ambient/supercruise tracks that preferably match the combat situation/super power/mission type/planet type/system type etc.
I have Spotify on. There is actually a space based station with 27+ hours on it that, for the most part, blends in quite well with ED.
I actually have muted all the music and just roll with Pandora in the background. I have my epic hero music station rolling as I scum HRES sites for pirates.
Thats a little sad and only proves my point, in-game music is not enough for players or is just too repetitive and boring. Good solution would be radio signals like in GTA with music, and sometimes galnet articles...
