Let's see:

The OP posts that the update has erased all his keyboard save settings. Now that right there is a right irritation as keybindings take time. He is however branded a troll and an utterly useless forum post (as in utterly useless as it does not even begin to attempt to help the OP or get to the bottom of the problem, which is ignored entirely in favour of an OT ditty) that sings a little song brandishing the OP a troll gets rep for insulting someone else?

Interesting.

Cannot help but think that the forums would be a much better place if people actually read and start helping the OP rather than jump on the 'troll' bandwagon every time something goes wrong.

Some people have tried to help the OP and advised about backing up binds. However, the OP was written in most people's opinion as quite provocative, and rightly so I believe. So a troll accusation is valid, particularly as the OP has not commented further in the thread.

Well, to be fare, I think its far more likely that the game overwrote his keybindings with the orginal 'custom' file after the game had patched and relaunched. There is no reason for the patcher to go into the players bind directory during patching, it only loads up that stuff when the game actually launches. Ok it may have been a save issue on the players last logout, but that doesnt automatically mean its the game at fault.

As to the troll comments, the original post was adjusted with a mod hammer, as the comments were loud, ungracious and just plain childish and rude. So the OP brought that schtuff on themself.

Also, please remember if you have an issue with a particular patch, you should ticket it. I'd also suggest it's a good idea to backup your key bindings file prior to patching if possible, just in case (although I've not had them vanish on me since 1.0).
