Eagle boost speed compared to other ships

I just noticed something.
The Fer-De-Lance is listed as 350 boost speed, and reaches 405 with A-thrusters.
Even the Asp, listed as 340, reaches 380.
Vulture, listed as 340, also reaches 380.

Yet the Eagle is listed with a base boost speed of 350, just like the FDL, but even with A-rated thrusters, that only climbs to about 365.

Let's put all further rebalancing considerations aside, why does the Eagle gain barely any speed from thruster upgrades in the first place?

With the recent and incoming changes, the Eagle could easily remain balanced with a large speed increase for sure. It needs to be very fast in order to be even worth consideration.

I never understood (and still don't understand) the Python's numbers. It still says 280, but even with E thrusters it goes much faster than that.

I'd like to hear this as well.

Exactly. It would remain a lovely agility fighter if it was fast. It's base mass of 50 tons seems wrong considering that the sidey weighs 25 tons and the viper only 60. 25, 35, 60 maybe. Either the Eagle is too heavy, or the Viper is too light... or both.
