Has the eagle cockpit changed a lot since premium beta?

I thought I had played it in vr but maybe I am wrong and I just tried it on a monitor. I stowed my pimped sidewinder and am giving the eagle a run out. It is fantastic. Despite being a bigger plane than the sidewinder its cockpit feels really snug, almost clostrophobic..... I love it!

I don't think it has changed at all since PB. I do agree it has a nice feel to it - especially after switching from a more spacious one like the Asps.

My fave cockpit in the Rift bar none. Awesome all round view, captures what a small single seat fighter should feel like (to me anyway)

I keep my freeagle in a port as a side slow upgrade project just so I'll always have one there to fly. Even bought a paint job for it.

I flew Sidewinder, Eagle and Viper so far.
The Eagle is by far the best VR experience due to the large amounts of glass everywhere.

I recently bought an Adder (having previously had a Sidewinder and Eagle), and I really liked the huge difference in the cockpit - it feels huge and spacious after playing in the Eagle. It even has cup holders. If only I could hang some fluffy dice up there it'd be perfect.

Actually something I would like in craft like the Adder is a copilot rather than just an empty second seat - especially if it ended up being your copilot replying to you about deploying landng gear etc rather than the ship's computer. It'd be so cool, especially with voice control (which I find kind of vital in the rift).

And theres this for people who had problems docking etc.

I love the Eagle also, over the last week I went to an Adder to start hauling to make money.

The Adder cockpit stinks for view.

After I got the credits I bought a Cobra and continued to haul cargo in it to make money. (Cobra cockpit is nice)

I then bought the Lakon Type 6 hauler and holy crap, you have to sit in that cockpit to appreciate the view and size, the 20 foot high glass view windows are insane (and at your feet too).

The type 6 is kinda a molasses covered beast to fly and dock BUT heres the point I was getting too.

If you've ever had docking problems, fly one of the big hauler ships for a while then jump back into your Eagle and you will be doing spirals into the docking slot and drifting sideways into your parking spot like a pro, its nothing to dock those small ships after flying the big clunky bastids.

I wont play without my rift, the full sense of scale is just amazing.

I love the Eagle in VR. Its like flying a Viper in Battlestar Galactica.
